Plex player suddenly stopped on my phone for remote play

I recently started to have issues with remote access on my plex server . I noticed it from my phone at first . everything got disconnected and was not able to access anything . Is anyone had this issue before .
Not sure what info required . i am running my plex server on my synology nas. its been working fine for the past 3 years and suddenly stopped. could it be an update .

Restart your server, and then restart the app; might be your server got a new certificate and needs a restart for everything to start working again.

Thank you for your prompt reply. unfortunately i have done this already many times and still no luck.

Now I have tested to login to my plex server from web browser on my phone to plex.tv/web and I was able to connect and see my media. Also while I was connecting with my 4G mobile connection .
when I try to connect via plex player i keeps getting server offline. ??

I have downloaded the app on another phone an IOS device and its working perfectly. if any one had this issue please let me know the issue is with my S10 or something else.

Yup same issue here with Pixel phone and Nvidia Shield doesnt work anymore. Works perfectly on iphone, windows pc and anything using a browser…

there was a cloud glitch with certificates; restarting the server usually ensures things will get back to normal. if not, please post server logs so we can check them out.

Not to hijack ramikii’s post, just pointing I posted full server log on my post for exact same issue if you wish to take a look. Thank you so much for looking at it.

I did try numerous time to reboot server/reinstall app with same result. Clearly a certificate issue.

it looks like something funky is happening, but i’m not sure why :thinking:

Any idea how we can get this thing fixed… other users are reporting same issue and Plex is pretty much useless now…

any chance of app/server logs? we’re working a bit blind trying to figure out what the issue is.

I just updated my Docker PMS and it is finally working again !!! I can finally uninstall emby !!
