i got the tray app and upon clicking that i am redirected to what appears to be the local version , so how do i use the web version as plex recomends for updates ect ? is the easiest way to just bookmark Plex ? then go to that when i need to use the web version ? many thanks guys any responses be appreciated
Yes, just go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop , sign in and bookmark it in your browser
If you’re going to use your computer to actually watch videos I suggest you use the Plex for Windows or Plex for Mac app
yes i already use the plex for windows but upon pressing my system tray it takes me to a local site ? is this normal and whats the best for me as i only use it for myself but i would like the updates that the web version offers , thanks again look foward to reply
