Hey guys,
Finally decided to deploy Plex DVR. So far i’m about 60/40 on it. Seems to be really buggy considering how long its been out and a lot of people adopting it. So I’m currently recording Doctor Who on BBC America during their week long marathon. After multiple episodes record, I get a message that the next recording failed. I try to tune to that channel but get a error but I can tune to any other channel perfectly fine. I have noticed when this happens a few plex processes close on my windows 7 plex server. For example the plextranscoder.exe *32. I have taken before and after screen shots and attached them. I also attached server logs right after it happened. To fix this problem, I just need to exit plex, wait for all the processes to close and start it back up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays!!
