Plex Series Agent Missing TV DB Content

When attempting to use Plex to organize a podcast, that is on the tv db: Redbar Radio - TheTVDB.com

The “Plex Series” agent treats the episodes like personal media, but then has some details for the show. But this is clearly quite bad data, and is missing tons of info. I can switch back to the legacy TV DB Agent, but then I have giant red warnings all over my client telling me to upgrade to a metadata provider that then gets rid of all of my metadata.

Plex will usually have a hard time if a show is only listed on TheTVDb but not on IMDb or TMDb.

In your case, the show seems to be listed on Plex’s backend:

However it’s only got metadata for seasons 21+22. That seems to be mostly in line with the data on TheTVDb (there’s more seasons on TheTVDb but those have zero episodes). The regular episodes of season 22 (e01-e04) have only been added today, so it’ll take Plex some time to digest those.

If you’re not getting any metadata… can you double-check the show is set to use TheTVDb (Aired) as its episode order (:pencil2: > Advanced > Episode ordering)?
