Problems with agents

Hi folks,

Sometime ago Plex forced me to upgrade my series mediathek.
After that the only possible agent was the Plex series agent. Unfortunately some series which were known before were now unknown. So I decided to go back to the old version.
I was using the TheTVDB-Agent and after using it again, it had problems with series which were known before.
For example German series Pur+. I cannot find it now with this agent, before it was no problem.
I could switch to The Movie Database Agent, which knows the series, but the problem is that the episodes are purely bad there.
Can anyone help?

How are your files named/organized?
Generally there’s very, very few reasons not to use the current-generation Plex TV Series agent.

If you want to save yourself a lot of time I would recommend using Download - tinyMediaManager and use:

Episode format:
${showTitle} - S${seasonNr2}E${episodeNr2} - ${title}

Folder format:
${showTitle} (${showYear}) {tvdb-${tvShow.ids.tvdb}}/Season ${seasonNr2}

as the new name format.

I organize my file names with Filebot. I think they are ok:

After turning again to the Plex TV series agent it seems to work probably now.
But it still seems that TheTVDB has more information:

How can I get this missing information into my Plex?

There are two elements NOT in your naming schema that will help with matching. Adding the year the show first aired and the TVDB ID. Since I started doing that I have had zero issues matching.

On TMDB there’s only 16 episodes for season 15

Plex.tv has thumbnails and descriptions EXCEPT for the first 16 episodes so it appears as though there’s some kind of conflict between the two

TVDB has all the thumbnails and episode descriptions but there appears to be some kind of problem with the api

The renamer I use uses the same TVDB api to pull show info as Plex does (I think)

When I put this show into the renamer only 2 episodes for the entire show populate it. This never happened to me before for any other show I’ve seen on TVDB
