I have a hard time installing additional server, including cloud. Every time I added a new server it deleted the rest of the added server. I tried to isolate the issue from uninstalling/reinstalling a server, but with no success. When I added the cloud server, it deleted the added server. It seems it only allow one server.
I am also able to access both servers via server_ip:32400, so this is nothing to do with the firewall. If I go to local_ip:32400 setup page, it will overwrite the existing server on the app.plex.tv.
Please advise
You can only have one Plex Cloud server.
You can have as many local Plex Media Servers on different computers as you want, but you cannot run multiple Plex Media Servers on the same computer unless the extras are in Virtual Machines or similar ( which is basically a different computer )
for example I have 4 servers all are signed into with my account in Server General Settings
1 Plex Cloud
1 on a Nvidia Shield
and 2 computers and each as one server
I actually have 2 Windows 10 VMs on 2 different networks under one host , Plex only recognized one of them. When I added a Plex Cloud, it automatically deleted the existing server.
A Plex Cloud Server has nothing to do with a local Plex Media Server.
