Hi everybody, just arrived, I’m not a networking expert sorry to bother asking some help on an issue that may appear basic to many. I’ve just installed Plex on my Nas and I’ve set the permissions on the folders. When I try to open Plex I receive alternatively a message “the plain http request was sent to Https port”
Or another one “the requestad page wasn’t found”
I understand that I should open the port 32400 on my router but it asks me the IP address and I have no idea were to find that. Could anybody help me please?

You don’t need to open any ports to access your server from within your home network.
How exactly are you trying to connect to the server?
Are you double-clicking the Plex Media Server icon on the DSM home page?
Have you verified the app on the DSM is running? This should be displayed in the DSM Application Center.
Thank you very much for your reply, in fact the app seems to be running (screenshot attached.) I try to open it by pressing the open button and I receive an error message (screenshot attached )
My end purpose would be to be able to connect also from remote, not only from the home network

Please follow FAQ 31: Reset / Reclaim PMS on DSM 7 (Not Authorized - Locked Out).
If it does not complete successfully, write back with any error messages, etc.
If it does complete successfully, you should be able to access Plex Media Server.
Do not use the Open button in Package Center (at least initially).
Point a private/incognito browser window at the IP address of the NAS. For example, if the IP address is 10.1.2.3, use http://10.1.2.3:32400/web. You should be able to login and access the server. You may see a “not hosted at Plex” message. That is OK. It just means you are connecting directly to your own server.
