Plex Server quits in the night

I wake up in the morning and the server isn’t running. I have to manually start it.

Started roughly 2 weeks ago. I can’t remember if anything changed around that time.

That is not the server version. That’s the current version of Plex for Windows.

You’ll need to pull log files that cover the time the server stopped working.

1. Set your system for debug, not verbose, log files.
2. Restart Plex Media Server.
3. Wait for the problem to re-occur.
4. If necessary, manually restart Plex Media Server.
5. Pull the log files. Attach the entire zip file to the thread. Drag it into the compose area, it will insert where the cursor is located. Alternately, use the upload button (the one with the up arrow).

Someone familiar with running Plex Media Server on a Mac can take a look and hopefully find out what is happening.

Correct, but i find it easier to just do this within the server and have all the info in one place.

FYI, you’ve a bad netmask for allowed networks. Use 192.168.1.0/24 or 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0.

Thanks, I’ve turned off auto scanning for now. I’ll see what that does.

Auto scanning should not invoke the issue you have explained. Then again I’m running the latest Beta. A few weeks ago i did notice a memory issue when the DVR was refreshing the EPG, it was very rapid Memory leak. I also use Memory Diag app with a auto Recycle limit 1000MB, so it prevents a problem. The DVR guide interval can be adjusted and the Enhanced guide is more intensive.
