I’ve had my plex server running for a few months on my windows 10 desktop. I only use it for plex.
Tonight when I try to watch anything the plex server crashes. I was watching movies earlier today fine.
I’ve attached the logs and the database.
I’ve done the “repair” available when I reran the installer but it didn’t seem to make any difference.
I’ve restarted the physical server.
Thanks.

Actually I just noticed I can play videos via the Samsung TV App. The Plex Media Server only crashes when I try to play something from the web app, or from the ios app.
There are some major hw transcoding issues with Intel quicksync on Windows right now. If that’s your config and processor you’ll find numerous other threads on the issue(s).
@Dr_Tone That was it alright. Thank you.
Silly question, how did you guys resolve the issue?
Turn off hw acceleration until a fix is out. I’m going to put a Quadro P2000 in and disable the intel.
I turned off hardware acceleration in Settings > Transcoder > Use hardware acceleration when available Uncheck that and your cpu usage will skyrocket when you watch a video that needs to be transcoded, but it won’t crash.
I just installed a P2000, disabled the internal Intel video adapter in the device manager and all is well again. HW transcoding again.
I’ve had enough of the various intel issues.
