Up until a few days ago, my Windows 10 server was working perfectly fine. Now all of a sudden, when I try to play a video in full screen mode, the player stutters, lags, out-syncs video/audio and skips along; it’s almost impossible to use the mouse. It acts as though the whole computer is crashing. (Works fine in Windowed Mode).
In case someone suggests hardware issue, it’s a custom rig I use for editing 4k movies for work. I’ve monitored the PC stats while this is happening and nothing on the computer is being bogged down; it’s all in the Plex side.
Another note: I’m not trying to watch 8k movies, I’m talking about 150MB episodes of Southpark or other similar TV shows.
