Plex Server troubleshooting after changing apartment, changing ISP provider

Server Version#: v1.15.2.793-782228f99

Hello,

Changed location from an apartment to another. Once moved here apparently it tells me that plexmediaserver service is started, on the other hand I can not access the GUI.

ISP provider gives both IPv4 and IPv6 through their router, though this shouldn’t impede the server loading at least locally.

Looked though the log and all I can find is a curl error:

Does anybody have any clue?

Thank you

This means that your server has either no internet connection at all,
or the DNS service is not working.

Maybe your server machine has fixed data set for IP address and DNS server, but they don’t fit the local network settings of your new router.

Ok thanks, thought of that, and checked IP is from current network, default gateway configured correctly and DNS the google classic ones, for ex 8.8.8.8, which I also had until moving

Still I get that nice DNS error and GUI stays in A server could not be found.

Do you have several servers/plex accounts?
Because the plex account you are using now doesn’t have a Linux server with PMS 1.15.2 in it.
It only has a server with PMS 1.12.2 on FreeBSD.

Yeah forgot to mention I’m using FreeNAS (BSD), but couldn’t choose that version in description.

Only have one plex server unfortunately

Sorry, I have no idea about FreeBSD.
I can only tell you that this error indicates that either the whole machine or the Jail with Plex in it has not internet connectivity.

sorry I wasted your time, you were right about DNS, tried to change it into GUI of BSD but it didn’t apply in resolv.conf so I manually configured. Thanks for your time.
