Plex Server update 1.15.3 will not install on my DS416j

I have Plex server version 1.13.4 successfully installed from the Synology apps page on my DS416j NAS. Plex advertises an available update 1.15.3 for the ARMv7 architecture. When I attempt to manually install this update I get the message “this product is not supported on the platform of DiskStation or is incompatible with the current version of DSM”. Any recommendations? It appears that the “current” version of Plex for Synology is a few versions behind.
