It’s complicated! I have a 5tb HD (2300 movies) hooked into my Nvidia Shield, the server has been movied from the shield to the HD. This morning I was adding 5 movies. As usual, I logged off and signed out. I plugged the HD into my laptop and dragged the movies into the folder. There was a problem and I ejected the disc incorrectly. When I pugged it back into the Shield, Plex couldn’t find it at all. I disconnected and ran Mac disc utility on the disc. Plex could now find it. It can read what’s there. BUT it will not scan for new movies. It will not empty the trash. It will not even let me delete the library or add a library. (I’ve coppied the data folder, with the meta data, so hopefully I won’t have to start over re-entering all my data.) It FEELS like Mac Disc utility has interfered with PLEX.
ANY ADVICE?!!
I’m REALLY STUMPED!
(If I have to trash every thing and start over can I drop the meta data file into the new Plex?)
(Clearly 2300 movies was A LOT Of work!)
