Server Version#: 1.16.1.1291
Recently my Plex server stopped downloading posters and background art. Metadata still matches, actors get listed, episode/movie names come up, everything but the actual posters.
I’ve tried all of the following (from reading lots of other posts of a similar variety across the interwebs):
Reorder agents
Plex dance
Adjusted networks not requiring auth
Excluded plex folders from AV
Cleared plug-in support\Caches subfolders
Cleared Cache folder
Restored backup of database
Turned on debug logs and tried to see if any URLs are blocked in the plugin logs
I’m at a loss for anything else to test. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I’ve had it off the default location for ages, but yeah, I had recently moved it to an ReFS partition. I’ve moved it back to an NTFS one and that seems to be doing the trick. Does Plex not work on ReFS?
Thank you, I was unaware of any hard link requirements in Plex, or I wouldn’t have done so (I know ReFS doesn’t support them). Does Plex have any issues with compressed or deduped drives (before I make any further blunders)?
I don’t think so, but I also think that the de-duplication takes a lot of RAM and won’t give much space savings back, if used for the Plex data folder.
