Plex Streaming Uses GPU-0 on laptop

I’m trying to stream 4k HDR files on my windows laptop using the Plex application but it stutters too much. The task manager on my laptop shows that I’m using GPU-0 (at almost 100%) for decoding the video when I should be using the Nvidia gpu (GPU-1) but I’m not sure how to enable that. I’m using the direct play (no transcoding). Hardware acceleration is turned on. Any help would be great.

there is some setting (google it) in windows (if i remember correctly) about manually selecting high or low power gpu for specific programs (exes)… that might fix it, best
