Plex stuck on loading when trying to access desktop from plex app on winfows

Hello, can anyone help me with this loading stuck when i’m trying to acces my computer from plex app?
I’m usint windows 11, I disabled firewall, i checked before that plex is allowed, i don’t have vpn or proxy activated, I uninstalled and installed again the plex and plex server.
Check my router for any firewall block…
I checked the ipv6 protocol.
The plex server is running and it is opening in browser on 127.0.0.1 port 32400, but in my plex app when I select the name of computer “Desktop-…” remains stuck on loadin
I run out of ideas.

Which app is that and how do you select this?

That may mean that the server is not running or not accessible.
Have you checked the tray icon?
Does the web app appear in your browser when you access http://127.0.0.1:32400/web on your server machine?

Yes, is working.

Try “Method 2.2” in here: You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry

Is stuck on loading when I’m trying to reclaim the server.

Which web browser are you using?

Chrome, I tried in incognito mode

Please disable that.

Take a look into your Plex data folder. See if you have a subfolder named Updates in there.
It should contain older versions of the plex server installer.
Uninstall Plex server (make sure to NOT use any “uninstaller” software or CCleaner or similar apps!)
install the older version
try again to claim the server

I don’t have any subfolder named updates.

This is not the plex data folder. This is the Plex program folder.

My bad,

It’s empty. I tried last week something, I downloaded an older version directly from plex website, but I encountered same problem

Thank you for your help. After I disabled the IPv6 protocol, installed the older version of media plex server and sign out from all authorizited devices, now it is working properly.

Thx.

Now that you have claimed the server, you are free to update to the latest version again.
