Hi. Can someone please help me? All of a sudden, plex is not downloading Metadata. It was working just fine and all of a sudden …nothing. It’s now dowloading only posters and backgrounds, but no plots, imdb ratings, cast, anything.
I don’t know what to do, because Metadata is one of the best features of Plex!

Chuck thank you very much for your IMMEDIATE reply. I did the step and -either that, or the fact that i simply restarted my NVidia Shield Server- fixed the issue. Now, the metadata is loading fine EXCEPT for the trailers. I have the trailer option enabled in the Extras settings, but still they are not loading. Can you please help with that one too? Again thanks very much -i did not expect that fast of a reply! You are great!
There is an issue being worked on regarding trailers. It is not on your end. It’s at the server (plex.tv).
When they get it resolved, your trailers will return and all will be as it should be.

I have no idea. They’re going through it now. That’s all I felt safe asking (don’t want to break their concentration)
Just to inform you. Verbose logging was already off in my server and I have the same issue with suddenly not loading metadata on new movies. Plex does download the cover and the fanart and also the title is correct, however description is not downloading and neither are the trailers and extra’s.

Did Plex fix the issues with trailers? I’m still not getting trailers on some popular movies?

How did you clear the cache for NVIDIA Shield?
