Ok, Im sure everyone has this issue: I open the Plex app on my Android device, select a movie, click sync. I sync to an SD card on my Android device. When I check the status from the device, it seems to be transcoding, and then downloading to 100% but that’s where the problem begins…

When I pop out of Plex, then head back in and go to synced items, it sometimes shows nothing there, other times it shows but simply will not play at all. I have tried clearing files from the server under Sync+, rebooting PMS and trying the whole thing over again all to no avail.

Oddly enough, the times the synced item shows, it most always is missing artwork, and just appears as a blank file. Anyone have ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Be aware that no who matters and could solve your bug (that I have, and that thousands of others andoird users have) will ever read your post. That how it works here. I just hope that you didn’t pay.

I have some faith in how Plex supports their users, afterall I have always gotten help- maybe because I ask politely.

The sync system is currently being rewritten. There is a closed Beta test ongoing.
Unfortunately until this system is hitting the public releases, nothing will likely improve for you.
