I have been having this issue since I set up my Plex Media Server since November. It is a great server application when it comes to streaming the content from the server. However I cannot sync any of my content to my Android devices for the life of me.
They would successfully download and sync to the device. They would be available for a day, then they are broken. It would say:
“An error occurred while playing this item”
This is on my Samsung phone and Samsung tablet. I do not understand what the problem is. All I want to do is download my media from the server to the device, there should be no playback problems/nor should I be limited to the Plex app for playing them once synced.
I am paying for Plex Pass so I expect this feature to work. It should have been fixed and it should not be complicated.
