After the updates to the android app in the 7.x the syns does not work and errors out. I uninstalled and reinstalled the version version 6.17.1 and it works fine.
Also fyi we need to have the classic layout as an option on this app as the latest changes to the layout are not UI friendly.
Please advise what the options are to ensure this works.

Ah thank you! I Just got the plex pass for music sync, but syncing doesn’t work. 6.17.1 already seems much more robust. Currently syncing1500 items. Hell even 1 album could overwelm the google play version of the app.
Wow is Plex sync broken. So the sync finished, and i got to listen to music… but then I turned off the wifi, and all the synced music disappeared. What a buggy mess. Thanks for the tip Daschenbrener, 6.17.1 showed more potential than the current release on my S7, but unfortunately still doesn’t do what I paid for. I can only advise people who are on the fence to NOT pay for plex, and keep on using the free version for the time being.
