https://status.plex.tv says everything is running fine and yet I can’t access my library locally or remotely which I could a fre hours ago. Neither can my relative.
Sadly I had forgot to change the authentication setting after getting new IP for my devices
I think the Plex staff dos a wonderful job, even if most of what they do is nothing I care about, but this ■■■■ needs to stop.
I’m in Sydney, Australia and am still having issues accessing plex.tv.
From my mobile I have no issues but from my home ISP I cannot. On Firefox I get "Unable to connect, via command line curl I get:
Trying ip…
TCP_NODELAY set
Connection failed
connect to ip port 443 failed: No route to host.
It does that for all 3 IPs the domain resolves to.
Interesting thing is I can access all subdomains, including www but that’s because they resolve to different IPs.
Fully agree. Plex announces that their media server is for “cord cutters” but won’t work if a server looses connection.
So the question is really pressing: why can’t I watch my family photos, if the internet is down?
PS: Emby wasn’t affected by the increased load on the net. Looks like Embys architecture is much more user-friendly (while prob. being less friendly for marketing and data gathering purposes)
