Plex TV Series Agent not pulling all years of TV show

I am trying to map the show “The Berenstain Bears”. The Plex TV Series Agent will only ever find a series from 1985. Both TVDB and TMDB have a series from 1985 as well as 2003. The episodes I have are from the 2003 series.

I have named the series folder with the tvdb id:

Berenstain Bears (2003) {tvdb-72502}

It will refuse to match to the 2003 series, and only matches to 1985. Going into the Fix Match menu, which is what I typically will do, will only ever return the 1985 series.

If I switch the library agent to TVDB, it is able to find both series years and if I select 2003, it downloads the Episode titles and metadata perfectly. I can also select the TMDB agent, and it can also find the series correctly and shows both 2003 and 1985.

But if I switch the library agent back to Plex TV Series, it reverts back to the 1985 series.

Is my only option to use the TVDB agent going forward?

I’ve not faced this specific issue although I did face an issue in which episode names were incorrect only on once TV show. I managed to resolve it by changing the Episode Ordering property for just that show. Try to see if that will fix your problem.
