Plex TV shows folder empty after scanning

Hello All,

I recently built a new PC and moved my hard drive with my shows and movies to the new PC. I renamed the hard drive the same as what it was on the old PC. When I scan my movies they all appear in the movie library. But when I scan my TV shows, nothing will appear in the TV library. However, If I create a new movie library and then scan the TV shows, they appear in there and are a jumbled mess. I have read in several places saying my TV shows naming convention may be wrong but I don’t see how this can be. The naming convention is correct and worked for years on my previous PC. Please help.

You were likely using legacy scanner/agent and now have the new ones. Naming is much more precise. Legacy will be remove soon so I wouldn’t waste time on them.

This indicates your shows are either named wrong or organized wrong. Keep in mind that the folder structure for tv show is stricter than for movies. Show the full path to a file, including the filename, then indicate the folder your library points to.
