I’ve got a Synology DS918+ that I’m using as a Plex server, and I’m trying to create a new library through Plex but it’s not detecting any files or folders inside the folder for that library. There’s files in there, and the folder has the same permission requirements as the other, working folders, but it can’t see anything.
I should probably add that I’m trying to use “Other Videos” library type, but I’ve also tried others.
I had the same problem when I started with Plex on my Synology. Make sure that the Plex users account has sufficient access rights to the folder you’re trying to use.
