Plex unavailable from outside, worked before and manual address works

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395
Player Version#: 3.71.2

Hi, I’m unable to see my server from outside local network. It worked before, I rechecked router and everything port related, but still the server UI tells me the server is not available from outside. BUT…If I put the public address with the port (18X.XXX.XX.X:port) in an outside network browser, it accesses the server. This tells me is not a port or double NAT issue. Very very weird. Any ideas? Tks

just ignore it… the Plex Settings for remote access sometimes either take a moment to recognize it’s actually remotely available.

Tks but the thing is it is actually unavailable, I’ve had this setup since almost a year ago and now my phone won’t access my server from outside the local network…only if I use the Chrome and enter the address, it works.

Sorry… I thought it was working despite wrongly indicating it’s not.
This could be linked to your settings on allowing secure/insecure connections. Do you use http or https when remotely opening Plex via your Chrome browser?
