I starting this because it seems that when I ask about this in other posts, I find that I should not and the post is then locked. I am sorry for posting in the wrong places, but this seems to have become and overarching issue with users, and when I read a related post, it leads to questions.
I am not able to pull metadata for movies or television programs anymore in Plex. I have tried all the suggestions in other posts (restarting, clearing caches, making sure the computer is not in a double NAT situation, resetting the agents) and more.
I can find the metadata in the TVDB, and the Movie Database (even other places) so I know it is out there. This seems to have started with the addition of the Plex Agent, but it may be coincidence.
If there is not a fix for plex pulling the metadata, is there a manual script I can run from outside the program and then import?
Also, why is “plex-unRaid” not an available tag? I am not the only one using an unRiad docker.
Sorry if I sound frustrated, but I have been trying unsuccessfully to find a fix for this for about 3 weeks.
