I just added a kids profile (managed) and added two libraries with (local) media and small kids restrictions.
After changing user profile, first thing i noticed is, that the added libaries are not shown, but “last added media” from my profile is shown. No restrictions apply, every media could be played from these categories.
What went wrong, or what did I wrong?
What versions of Plex Media Server and clients do you have installed / are you using?
I believe there was an issue that some hubs on the start page did indeed show content that was otherwise not visible to the user… but that has been fixed some time ago (e.g. here for Plex Web)

Plex Server shows: Version 1.19.4.2935
Plex Web shows: Version 4.30.2
Plex Client on Fire Tablet shows: Version 8.3.0.18912
and another problem - the plex client on Fire Kids tablet seems to forget the registration/activation of my lifetime subscribtion, an the not (anymore) activated and not logged in client shows all my content, without being authenticated… that is even more not ok…
You might want to update your server to the latest public version (1.19.5) or access the server via http://app.plex.tv/desktop. This will give you the version of Plex Web that includes the fixes I mentioned/linked above.
As for the other issues…
You can try remove both of those devices from the list of authorized devices. Afterwards you’ll need to re-link your tablet to your account (enable “automatic sign-in” in the tablet account settings and afterwards switch to the kids managed account).

thanks for your help, it really was that version that had these problems! after updating, everythings look fine!
