Plex works great for me and my needs. However, while this may be very old news, what’s most frustrating for me is that you guys really need to fix the Aspect Ratio for Samsung TVs!!
My MP4 TV and Movie files (converted from my DVD collection) show much smaller, and with thick, black bars all around the picture.
During the same movie or TV show episode playback, I can adjust the Aspect Ratio on my LG TVs. Meaning, when playing these same MP4 files, I can stretch the picture to take up the full screen on the LG TVs, but I cannot adjust the Aspect Ratio on my Samsung TVs. That feature is disabled on the Samsung TVs when using Plex.
Not sure what is taking you so long to fix this problem. Checked the forum, and saw that this problem has been around for a while. It’s mind boggling and highly frustrating.
Any ideas or suggestions??
