Plex Web App won't detect Roku Smart TV to cast too

I use Plex Web app a lot for playing on my computer, and of course the APP on the Roku Smart TV I have.

I have had this issue for a long time where the Plex Web app can’t see the Roku Smart TV to cast too, the Android phone has this issue too. I would like to get this to work, because in turn my Alexa can’t see the TV either to cast to.

Is there something special I need to do on the APP on the tv?

yes they are all on t he same network.

Can you cast anything else to your Roku like YouTube or Netflix?

Or just use chrome browser and cast anything?

Is this issue isolated to Plex?
