Help! I want to be able to access plex without my VPN but now it only works through my VPN and I can’t log in or reclaim server unless I am on the VPN!
What does your firewall look like? My instinct is that something went wrong and the proper ports were closed but with the VPN all that is bypassed.
Otherwise did you manually change any DNS settings?
Firewall was fine and letting it through. I think the VPN killswitch went off and somehow claimed the server under that IP address. Through a billion trial and errors (reparing, uninstalling, restarting, etc) I just managed to fix it by connecting to the VPN, unclaiming the server, signing out, disconnecting VPN, disconnecting all of my routers/modems, and restarting the computer.
