I recently updated to the latest version and ever since then the server keeps stopping.

I’ve also tried to add some TV Show titles (instead of just movies) but i don’t know if that’s relevant.
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you,
Bryan

Exact issue for me on same server version.

I’ve had issues with crashing in the past from using hardware transcoding but have since not used it and the difference here is that it’s crashing while idle (no one attempting to stream).

I’ve just installed the latest update “PlexMediaServer-1.19.1.2589-2de7f3266-x86” and the same thing is happening.

I didn’t even attempt to play any media, the crash seemed to coincide with my clicking on ‘Home’ but with my sample set of 1, that may just be coincidence.

Ended up doing a clean install - uninstalling, manually deleting installation directory & registry entry. Re-installed latest version and it seems to be working fine now. No idea what the issue was.

Aaand it’s doing it again!

My Win 10 pro with plex media server 1.18.9.2578 is still working fine. I only run it on LAN and start it manually when needed , this is also gaming rig. I am wondering if maybe Microsoft updates has updated something that messing yours up. I got a bit frustrated with there updates and blocked them. I have always be a believer of if it aint broke dont fix it

Thanks. I’ve disabled anything to do with hardware transcoding and seems stable again.
