Ok ive spent the last 5 hours trying to find a solution to this.
I have a dedicated windows 10 plex server in one room of the house.
I have an Nvidia Shield TV as a player in the living room.
I have a wireless USB Keyboard next to the TV as a ghetto way of waking the server from the living room
The issue is that I use the keyboard to wake the server and then start streaming. The only problem is that after awhile windows goes to sleep. Now I have windows going to sleep after 10 min. Sounds short but in the past streaming from the shield used to keep windows awake, but now it dosent for some reason. I haven’t changed any hardware or changed any settings. It could just be a coincidence but this started happening not long after the recent plex update.
Anybody have any ideas? I don’t want the server running 24/7 but I also don’t want to have to keep waking the server between episodes.
Im sorry if this has been answered before, but I just cant figure it out. Ive looked everyplace I can think of for an answer so if anybody has any ideas please let me know and sorry in advance for my noobness
