The thing I like most about Plex is the possibility to play trailers before the start of a movie.
I have my trailers local, with suffix “-trailer” in each movie folder., only one trailer per movie.
The strange thing is that some trailers get a “play trailer” button at the top of the movie,page, others don’t but only show up at the bottom as “extra”.
It seems Plex only chooses trailers that have the “play trailer”- button and skips the others.
I can not figure out why some trailers get the button, others are merely extras, as I use the same naming convention for all. Any ideas?
Solved it myself. I unchecked the “Find trailers and extras automatically (Plex Pass required)” box under Agents- Plex Movie - Settings.
Refreshed all metadata and presto!
