Plex won't run

Sorry if this has been answered before.

I am on Windows 10 on a new PC. I had plex on my old PC. I removed the server from the account before switching over, thinking I would just start a new one on this new PC.
Now I download Plex, and when I run it at the end, nothing happens. I think maybe the Media Server is not starting. So I grabbed the log from \AppData\Local\Plex\Plex Media Server\Logs, and attached it here. Can someone let me know what I should do?
I’ve already tried reinstalling a few times (using the uninstall/regedit/delete local appdata method) to no avail. In the last iteration, I deactivated windows defender completely just in case.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Plex Media Server.log (41.9 KB)

Bump.

That log is only showing a very brief period of your of your server starting/running (approx. 50 seconds). However I’m not seeing any issues during that short period.

Will you get Plex to show kind of its web app if you open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web from a browser on that Windows PC (alternatively using http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web from a different machine inside your home network)? Any error messages?

Given this is on Windows… do you see the Plex icon in the system tray of your system?

Thanks for your response.

I get a “This site can’t be reached” error in Chrome when I try to open the server via that link, with “ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED”.

I am able to open the Plex app, but I don’t see it in the system tray.

Can you grab/zip the full logs folder and upload that to see if there’s anything beyond those 50 seconds that might help

Sure, here are my Plex server logs.Logs.zip (12.8 KB)

And my Plex app logs? Logs2.zip (26.3 KB)

I’m such an idiot, I didn’t realize Plex Media Player had to be downloaded and ran separately from the app. I did that and it’s running fine. Sorry, this thread can be closed!
