Plexamp 3.8.x will not stay paused in CarPlay if another source is selected

Player Version#: 3.8.0, 3.8.1, 3.8.2

After updating to 3.8, I cannot pause Plexamp and choose the FM source in my Chevrolet, a few seconds after I do the CarPlay screen comes back up and Plexamp starts playing again. It worked fine with v3.7 and still works with other audio apps in CarPlay…?

I have tried the CarPlay screen pause button, the iPhone screen pause button, and just switching the source on my car’s touch screen (like I used to do). If I select a different audio app, play something, then pause, the issue stops. Then and the next time I connect my phone there is no issue listening to the FM source.

It’s great that you fixed the automatic play-on-connect, but now it’s too aggressive.

please post Plexamp logs right after the undesired resume and we’ll be able to see why it’s doing so.
