In Plexamp on android, is there a way to configure a direct connection to my remote server, bypassing the Plex relay service?

There’s no option to enter your server’s public IP / a manual connection.
The client won’t usually require a Plex relay. It’s checking your account for linked servers and should then automatically connect to those (no traffic through Plex). A Plex relay might only be involved if there’s a problem with your remote access setup.

Although I’m currently experiencing some problems, you might want to try Tailscale. Check out this video.

Thanks, good to know. From reading the documentation it seemed the relay was a normal part of the process.
