Running Plexamp 4.10.1 on Linux, just signed up to TIDAL to try the doppelganger feature.
As it says it inserts the most sonically similar track from tidal after every track - so I am playing an Eurythmics album with DJ Doppelganger but do not see anything different in my play queue, just the album’s tracks?
Does it take some time for everything to activate or am I missing something?
Did you already perform sonic analysis on your own library?
Just to verify… do you see any „sonically similar“ hubs on your artist/album pages?
Post Plexamp logs after enabling, it might be it doesn’t see a similar track, or possibly you need to (re?)-link TIDAL since I don’t see a TIDAL section on the right hand side. (You need to be server owner for it to show up).

When I had tidal before I’m sure I could switch sources in Plexamp, but it won’t let me do that.

And you’re for sure signed into Plexamp as that user? Got logs?

I’m sorry, there’s no evidence in the logs that your account has TIDAL associated with it. This is the sort of line which should appear:
INFO - DEVICE: Finding best connection for Music tv.plex.provider.music.
Do you see TIDAL in the Plex web app, e.g.?
If it helps when I signed up as a new user to tidal I selected my old tidal account that the subscription had lapsed on, logged into that and it linked successfully.
But I have also tried re-linking as per prior post.
Did you actually use your lapsed Tidal account, when you bought the sub through Plex?
Or did you create a new one?

Just to be sure, have you perhaps disabled TIDAL in Online Media Sources?
