I’m on iOS as well but I checked and I think you’re right. One of my downloaded playlists is at “3 days” length but the playlist I’m downloading is 3 days 10 hours so it’s not getting all of it. Perhaps it does have a 72-hour max. I don’t know if you’re interested in a different audiobook solution …

it should generally default to everything for small play,lists. Plexamp logs after a refresh of the download would tell the story.
