Plexamp for iOS stops playing and crashes after connection change

Hi,

I have a problem with Plexamp on iOS:
If I’m streaming music with Plexamp and my phone changes network (usually from WiFi to Cellular), the music stops, it starts buffering and after a while crashes completely.
I have good logs about this from today, so if any dev would like to raise their hand I would share the logs via PM.

It is streaming directly FLAC on WiFi and when it changes to Cellular, it tries to transcode to 256kbps OPUS.
After the crash, I can start the app again and it starts to work normally - transcoding to OPUS on cellular.

My username is my plex pass email address in plex.tv. Didn’t know I could send crash reports that way, I have always thought this forum is the only way to get support from Plex :slight_smile:

Hmm, I see one CarPlay-related crash from about a week ago, but that’s all I see under your email.

Yup, CarPlay also crashes quite a lot. Let me send you more logs :slight_smile:

I think the problem here with the data connection changing is not Plexamps fault, but my own WiFi is probably just flaky.

elan, did you have time to check out those debug crash logs I sent you earlier via email?
