Plexamp Home Screen Not Loading + plexamp.plex.tv Returns "Access Denied"

Summary
Plexamp home screen stopped loading on all devices (Mac, iOS, Android) on both WiFi and cellular networks. The web version at plexamp.plex.tv returns an AWS “Access Denied” error. Regular Plexamp playback and library browsing still work fine.

Environment
• Plex Media Server: v1.42.2.10156 running in Docker (LinuxServer.io) on Synology NAS • Plexamp: v4.12.4 on all platforms • Plex Pass: Active • Network: UniFi Dream Machine Pro
What I’ve Tried

  1. Signed out and back into plex.tv and all Plexamp clients 2. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Plexamp (including deleting all app data) 3. Restarted Plex Media Server container 4. Restarted router 5. Verified server connections are correct via plex.tv resources API 6. Tested ⁠/hubs API endpoint directly — returns valid XML data 7. Cleared browser cache and tried incognito mode for plexamp.plex.tv
    Timeline
    This issue started today (January 1, 2026) after I was troubleshooting network settings in Plex (Custom Server Access URLs and LAN Networks). Even after reverting all settings to their original state, the issue persists.
    Key Observation
    Since regular Plex apps work, the server is accessible, and direct API calls succeed, this appears to be specific to Plexamp’s cloud-dependent features (home screen, Sonic recommendations). The AWS “Access Denied” error from plexamp.plex.tv suggests something may be wrong with my account’s access to Plexamp’s cloud services.

Since this is connected to the home page, the first question would be if you have modified that home page?
For instance did you create a custom hub or section? If so, revert this and see if it makes a difference.
