Hey All,
I specifically bought Google devices because I am able to cast Plex and PlexAmp to them.
The Plex app still works but yesterday PlexAmp just stopped casting to all my devices.
Which version number of Plex Amp are you using on you phone? and which version of Android is on that phone.
I just tried casting to a Nest Hub, CCwGTV, an individual speaker, speaker group, and a regular 4k chromecast and all seem to work.
possible to get the logs from the app after trying. Settings>Advanced>Debugging

Your logs show timeouts trying to connect to devices. The device is not asleep is it?

OK thanks. There are more reports of this happening to folks and the Plexamp team is looking into it. It is strange because it is working for some folks but not others and we can’t figure out why yet.
Any idea yet of what might be the problem exactly?
Google sometimes makes unpublished updates to API which should generally be minor and not affect anything and we are trying to figure out what those changes are. Sorry don’t have any more info than that
