Make sure that you’re using addon paths and NOT direct paths. If you change that setting, a database reset is in order.
If that does not help, I need your DEBUG log file: How to Report A Bug · croneter/PlexKodiConnect Wiki · GitHub

Wow that was a fast reply, thanks! That was one of the settings I tried changing but did the reset afterwards. After waiting for the sync, nothing improved and it had the same characteristic of not playing or appearing to do anything.
No idea how to manage the log file on an android tv but will attempt…
Yeah, can’t get the log file out of the TV
Hi
PlexKodiConnect is broken this morning on my NVIDIA Shield running Kodi 18.5.
I noticed that the Kodi Version Check Add-On got updated overnight. This is the only thing that has changed.
Now when I go into PKC Settings I get a completely blank page. It has not text/lines/settings at all. Re-install PKC and get the same.
Any thoughts?
A Kodi bug like that is annoying. Try deleting settings.xml in the folder plugin.video.plexkodiconnect in the Kodi userdata folder
That is just what I was thinking. I may have turned off (powered off at mains) NVIDIA Shield whilst KODI was running and perhaps that corrupted the settings file.
Try resetting PlexKodiConnect completely by going to the PKC settings, Advanced, then Reset the Kodi database. Hit Yes, then Yes, then Yes.
Make sure to choose addon paths during the setup, NOT direct paths
OK - Deleting the PKC Settings file (which was zero bytes) has worked pretty much.
Re-setup PKC settings etc and seems ok (after a very quick check) except KODI is now hanging when I exit and I have to close via Android Force shut app option.
Any thoughts - otherwise I guess it is a Log upload job?
Great!
And yes, exactly.
OK, will give it a go, thanks
Seems more like a PMS issue as after the reset PKC can’t find the server on the network. Have tried resetting everything but something is not playing ball. So annoying as I didn’t change anything!
I ended up doing another PKC full reset and that sorted it out - thanks for your help on Christmas Eve and have a great holiday!
So I understand the Xbox UWP app can’t sync playlists, but can it do playlists at all? Each time I try to make my own playlist it just makes a list full of file.flac and has no artwork.
Any way around this?
Yes PKC can - because Kodi can.
The experience is better if you use PKC direct paths, artwork should show up then
so i’m trying to modify the TV shows sub section with the default estuary kodi skin (not the left hand navigation pane) to show in progress episodes (instead of/in addition to the in progress series list), but i’m confused with where i should be editing nodes.
i’m going to settings -> interface -> skin -> configure skin -> TV shows edit categories (using library node editor)
in this section, i see a listing of my four plex libraries, movies, tv shows, music videos, files, playlists, video add-ons, and then the *new options.
what section should i be editing to add in an in-progress TV episodes section that pulls from PKC?
thank you
Well, either the existing tv shows section. Or you might want to add a new one to mess around with.
Do have a look here: Video Nodes and Skins · croneter/PlexKodiConnect Wiki · GitHub
thanks for following up!
i did read that section when crawling through this thread, but, if i’m understanding it correctly, that’s to add a separate navigation widget (like on the left-hand side in estuary) for other skins. the default skin/estuary doesn’t have that skin settings page.
within my existing TV shows panel (that’s on the left hand side), i want to add an in-progress section for each episode (like on deck, but doesn’t have to pre-load the next episode).
so if i edit the existing “TV shows” section–which matches the “TV Shows” on my left-hand navigation pane–the node list matches what i see, but i only see *add rule, *new node, and *new parent node for options to add.
am i on the right track there? which option should i be using?
thanks again
Hi
First of all thank you for developing PKC. It was so awesome!
Just one problem, my internet downstairs sucks to play any decent quality. I tried using force encode and it lags and have sync issues which broke the experience. Will you support “Quality” toggle in the Kodi Leia Settings. The main Plex app has such functionality which helps tremendously with lagging.
Thanks again
Hi
Is there an way to get the VOD (Movies & TV) service from Plex inside Kodi witk PKC?
Petter
Unlikely as that service is actually running on the various Plex clients and has no dependency on the Plex server.
