On a OnePlus 3, OxygenOS 3.5.6 running Marshmallow 6.x where I was able to sign in previously, now using 5.2.0.477 I get a prompt to upgrade to Plex Pass and if I skip that get no servers and a prompt to activate the one-time streaming on Android. Previously, the Android app was ‘free’ with my lifetime Plex Pass subscrp[tion. Deleted app tried again, no joy. Still signed-in on my iOS app and that works. Confirmed my subscription status is still good via website.
Also tested using a non-Plex-Passed account for myself on another email address I use for testing the viewer experience. No joy.
Both times after ‘signing into’ Plex on the app, I get prompted for the subscription and one-time activation. Clicking the hamburger menu and then Account shows that Plex hasn’t accepted the sign-in. It still says ‘sign in’ instead of showing my username as the currently signed in user.
Kind of baffling.
