For Linux users this is an easier way to recover.
Open your server in a browser and go to settings.
Go to the Live TV & DVR settings.
Kill all plex processes. I used System Monitor from Mint.
When the webpage reloads as plex starts again, delete the DVR
Once that is finished, set up the DVR
Wait until that is finished then select the channels, etc.
Watch TV
I just did this on my plex server and again have a working setup via web, iOS, and Apple TV
I didn’t want the hassle of downgrading/upgrading.
