webclient errors out after the show ends like it always has. It’d be real nice if this issue could be fixed

HI @BigWheel, any updates? This version that I am being forced to stay on messes up every few days. I am unable to watch tv at all, and when I look at the dashboard, I see a dozen or so recordings that are nonsense recordings going. Sorta strange. Doing a restart resolves it again for a few days. So getting this issue fixed, and getting off this 5081 build would be highly appreciated.

Just tried PMS v1.25.0.5220 and the Live TV (tuner) disconnects every few minutes just like v1.24.5.5173. So I’m back on v1.24.4.5081 again. The old version has the problem but doesn’t happen nearly as frequently.
(Another common problem is where the LiveTV complains about my TV antenna may be disconnected. I can access the tuner from other programs and signal is 100%. I have to restart PMS to get it working again. If I don’t address the error and restart the PMS, I miss recording all the DVR programs scheduled…but this is another problem. There have always been frustrating LiveTV problems since I started using Plex —either on the server and/or player side. And LiveTV is the main reason I use Plex!)
@BigWheel any updates? When is this going to be resolved so that we can move to the current version of plex.

I am experiencing a similar issue while attempting to watch live tv using my tuner. I receive a playback error message that states “This Live TV session has ended.” I use a HDHomerun tuner which seems to work fine with no errors outside of Plex.
I seem to have no issues with the DVR portion as it still records when I ask it to. This only seems to be effecting any type of streaming of the live tv sessions.
@BigWheel, any update to this yet? It has been a couple weeks now. I would REALLY like to update my software soon!

Live TV successful transitioned from one program to the next without any actions by me a couple of days ago when I tried it. Windows server 1.25.3.5409 and Plex Web 4.72.1 (through app.plex.tv). Used Firefox browser. WinTV QuadHD PCIe tuner. I launched from Recent Channels (not the guide) if that matters. Note that I only tried this once and I don’t use Plex day to day – using NextPVR/Jellyfin until I’m convinced that Plex is going to be reliable again.
PlexWeb 4.69.1 bundled in the server still has the problem of crapping out after 3 minutes. But 4.72.1 seemed more usable to me.
Update: I tried again with PlexWeb 4.72.1 from the guide this time. When the current show ended, it again successfully transitioned to the next program in the guide without any actions required by the user. I also let the new show go for 10 minutes. So the 3 minute crapout and the show-to-show issues both seem to be fixed for me in PlexWeb 4.72.1
oh good. That may resolve the issue for me too on plexweb, but my main issue is that this is happening on my nvidia shield too, which the wife uses… I can pretty much handle the plexweb timing out, as it has been for years now. But when the wife starts having issues, I have to open a thread up to get fixed…

nothing? has root cause been identified yet? And I thought MY Dev team was slow as molasses!! Is it even being looked in to yet? Is there a queue that these are processed in? If so, can you tell me what number in the queue my issue is in?
Bumping this to see if I can ever upgrade yet??? Do you need more logs? What do I have to do to get this moving along? Do you need more money? What. I need this fixed!!! How can I get higher priority for this issue!!! I’ll do anything!
Also. Why on the android client, whenever you click the back button to go back to the guide, the guide starts from the beginning, and not from the channel you’re currently watching? Super Annoying. Among about 50 other things… @BigWheel
The other bugs with android that you mentioned are also being looked into. I’m sorry I do not have an eta.
