Upgraded from 1.23.5.4862 to 1.24.3.5033, and now noticing CPU spikes in PMS every 15 mins. Clearly it’s a scheduled task, but as you can see from the screen shot, prior to upgrade I didn’t have these spikes, No configuration had been changed, just an upgrade.
My concern is the average CPU of 2% (while doing nothing) has now jumped to 8%, that’s a large increase for one release, and no more memory or anything else I monitor is being used.
(In the attached screen shot the blank data window is right at upgrade)
I use the same API calls the Plex Dashboard uses and log the data to a time series database. So the CPU & Memory graphs are simply a dump of the PMS dashboard data. That means that the 2% to 8% average is simply however PMS calculates time vs CPU cycles.
I do the same with bandwidth, and also monitor same information at OS. Nothing else went up.
But interestingly enough, after 6 hours of running the spikes have now settled back down to close to what they were before.
