Previously all recordings with Plex DVR would default to a pre specified location of /volume1/Recorded TV. After upgrading to Version 1.7.6.4058 it seems to want to defualt recordings to a new location on a USB / eSATA DAC RAID drive that I use for backup.
How can I configure Plex DVR to record to /volume1/Recorded TV again?
If its best practice to have recordings identified as movies recorded to a file named “Movies” I already have a /volume1/Movies file setup. I’m just not sure how to get Plex to use it.
ANy help would be appreciated.

Might be something about your setup. I just upgraded and my recordings still appear in my DVR folder as before. I have Synology, you do to?
Yes, the Plex Media Server in question is a Synology DS1815+
What was happening was that Plex would, logically, record TV shows in
" /volume1/Recorded TV". I never noticed that Plex would attempt to record “Movies” only in folders that have a “Movies” file name. This is why Plex DVR was defaulting to the external (eSATA / USB) RAID enclosure which was already configured with a “Plex Movies” folder. These were converted / transcoded movie recordings (.wtv to .mp4) from my old Windows Media Center system
A local folder “/volume1/Movies” was created but I never configured it with Plex so this is why the folder was being ignored.
