Server Version#: Windows:1.19.4.2935, Linux 1.19.4.2935
Player Version#: Windows 1.12.1.1253, (plus Roku & LG TV)
I use two PMSs; one on my busy Windows 10 pro v1909 machine that serves mostly my local music catalog, and can also act as back-up video server. The other is on a Debian/Linux 10 box, kernel 4.19.0-9-amd64 (latest updates added every week) and is the main video server. I use the Plex client on my Win PC to change the PMS settings etc for both servers. Yesterday I decided to add some managed users so as to limit my children’s access to violent films and such, but as soon as I did so, the PMS on the Linux box disappeared and I could not access it again, not from the PC, nor the Roku client, nor the LG TV client - not even from the Debian box itself! When I tried to log into Plex on the Linux box, it at first told me that the PMS was unauthorized, and then gave me access to the Windows PMS. I could only restore normal workings by deleting the managed user and rebooting the Debian server.
I experimented again today, and exactly the same thing occurred - when creating a managed user, the Linux PMS was immediately kicked out as unauthorized.
Hope this can be fixed soon, as it would be nice to be able to control the children’s access as they are getting older and more inquisitive.
