PMS can't scrape TV shows (agent log full of errors)

Hi,
I’ve a fresh PMS 1.12.1.4885 install on CentOS and created a TV show library. More than half of all TV shows were not scraped. If I manually click on “update metadata” it begins and after a while it finishes without any changes.

The result of cat com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb.log | grep ERROR is full of errors:

2018-03-18 14:30:48,568 (7fd5fffff700) : ERROR (networking:219) - Error opening URL ‘https://tvdb2.plex.tv/series/253573/images/query?keyType=fanart&lang=en

What could be wrong with my PMS?

There’s some issue with TheTVDB at the moment. Last night this was mostly about their API domain, last I checked their entire homepage was down as well.
Good news… this means it should eventually be fixed when TheTVDB is restored.

Ah, ok
…so if I want my PMS to retry those TV shows I just have to “analyze” the whole library in a few days, right?

@Nerdlicht You can either do a Refresh All metadata for the library (if you have a lot of TV shows that can take a while). The other (probably better option) is to go to the TV Show and on the main screen for the show (not within a season) do a Refresh Metadata and it will refresh the metadata for that series and download/load any new metadata for new episodes you added.

BTW, this appears to be resolved at this time. There was another thread that got a Plex Team Members attention and he brought it to the operations team. I was able to refresh my data for 2 series which I added the next episode to and it worked.
