Server Version#: 1.17.0.1709
Noticed several crashes lately on my Win10 machine that seem to revolve around avcodec-58.dll - Most of the instances it is just the transcoder that crashes, but I notice that the whole PMS seems to crash once a day or sometimes once every other day.
The most recent two instances occurred when someone was trying to play using Plex for Xbox One. It tried to start the stream as direct play an MKV H.264 file and the transcoder crashed, so then they tried to start it again and it decided to transcode the second time and it crashed again.
I’ve attached the Windows Error Report as well as the plex logs. - It only seems to be my Windows 10 machine that is crashing, the other two Windows machines seem fine. One is running Windows Server that does have hardware acceleration turned on, while the other is a Windows 10 machine but it doesn’t use hardware encoding. So this Windows 10 machine is the only server that is having issues and the only Windows 10 machine that has hardware encoding turned on. Wondering if there is some relation there.
